Chuck Fenda
Also known as The Living Fire or Poor People Defender, Leshorn Whitehead was born on 15 June 1972 in Brooklyn New York City. He was raised in Jamaica and this is were he developed his special love for music. Whitehead visited King Jammy’s often and this is where he released his debut single, “Shut Your Mouth When Yuh Bad Man Talking” on the “Tight clothes” riddim for John John. This was followed by the release of ‘the Glue”. In 1996, Whitehead was invited by King Jammy to record on his label and that’s when he recorded his big hit “Jah It’s All About You” on the “One-Drop Money Riddim”. He went on to record for several producers including Shocking Vibes. In 1997, he officially relocated to Jamaica and the following year, Whitehead recorded “Mi See It Clear” on the “Joint Riddim”. After that he released one of his greatest hits titled “Bada Bada”. Other hits included “Right Time Come” and Lift Up”. In 2000 Whitehead joined the Fifth Element Records and they recorded songs such as “Stick To One Man”, “Better Days”, “Life Ruff Out Deh”, “How Do You Feel” and other songs.
