Fireball Records’ 2020 Stalag Riddim / Pick Up The Pieces Riddim brings together a compact lineup with Chuck Fender, Junior Kelly, Pressure, Ras Goudie and Suga Roy and The Fireball Crew on a remake built around two familiar Jamaican foundations. The set includes Move On, Burn My Trees, Rebuke Dem, No War, Ease Off and My Sound, with Suga Roy also appearing alongside Conrad Crystal on Me Phone a Ring Off. That connection to Pick Up The Pieces ties the release back to a classic early-’70s roots melody, while the Stalag name nods to one of reggae’s most heavily revisited patterns, giving Fireball’s version a vintage feel with a 2020 dancehall-reggae edge.
