Bussa’s Rebellion Riddim by Rugged and Prez landed in 2022 as a compact six-track reggae set with a strong roots-conscious cast led by Gyptian, Anthony B, Chuck Fenda, and Fyakin. The title track theme runs through the whole package, with Anthony B’s Rebellion and Chuck Fenda’s Material giving it extra weight alongside Gyptian’s Where Is the Love and Fyakin’s Danger. Rugged and Prez also close it out with their own instrumental version, while Nick Fantastic adds a dub take on the riddim, which gives the project a little more depth than a standard vocal compilation. It plays like a modern rebel anthem built around voice, version, and dub.
