Roy Thompson born January 30, in Portland, Jamaica, is a dancehall and reggae musician. The love for these genres of music started when he was very young and in primary school. His initial inspiration came from Papa San, Elephant Man, Bounty Killer, and the legendary, Vybz Kartel. When he met Elephant man in 2000, he began writing songs for him. Bugle featured on Elephant Man’s “Good To Go” tour that happened in 2001. He left Shawn Scott Music Group and in 2007 joined with DASECA Production Group who produced his very 1st hit track “What We Gonna Do.” “Journeys” is a track that was released in 2007 as one of the first singles as well. Between 2007-2016 alone, Bugle released at least 30 singles altogether. His talent is evident and his dedication is clear in the quality of his music. The albums he has released include, Anointed released 2014 and Be Yourself in 2017. Akam Entertainment, Reggaeville, and Crushroadmusic are channels that Bugle has appeared on. Videos include “Ganja” which was 12 weeks on the charts in 2017 with a minimum 400k view, “Sound Di Alarm” spent 2 weeks on the charts and “Labba Labba”, just to mention a few, though the song didn’t so well. Bugle has done collaborations with many artists on different music projects. He did a song together with Bounty Killer, “Ghetto Life” and another one with Jada Kingdom called “Picture Perfect.” One of the music videos scored up to at least 2,3million views titled “Rise Again” and was released 15 February 2018. He did the “Life Savior” video with Noah Powa and Norman Alexander and it got released on 15 February 2020. Bugle will continue proving his fans, he is worth their attention and time.
