Dark Temptation Riddim – Troyton Music

Troyton Music’s Dark Temptation Riddim arrived in 2015 as another polished dancehall juggling from Troy “Troyton” Hinds, the veteran producer who built his name from sound system roots and later turned Troyton Music into a steady hit factory. By then, he had already linked up with some of the genre’s biggest voices and was known for clean, radio-ready productions with strong melodic pull and club weight.

Dark Temptation rides a mid-tempo groove that sits just under the dancefloor, with a slick, moody pulse rather than a hard bashment attack. The instrumental gives the singers plenty of room, and the best cuts work because each artist takes a different angle on the same riddim. Alaine’s “Walk Good” brings warm, devotional uplift.
