Havana Riddim – Raps-Aid Productions

Raps-Aid Productions came through in 2021 with Havana Riddim, a dancehall set that leans into a bright, tropical bounce but keeps the drums and bass locked in the street. Bugle’s “Prevail” and Lutan Fyah’s “Phantasmagoric” give the project some of its sharpest edge, while Royal Blu, Perfect Giddimani and Jahfrican keep the energy varied, moving from conscious uplift to flirtier, party-minded cuts. There’s enough room here for the singjay work to breathe, and tracks like Kingbreezy’s “Whine and Jiggle” and KVSE and Plenti’s “High Grade” tilt the riddim toward the dancefloor without losing the melodic pull.
