Wallace Wilson, born on 17 January 1978 in St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica, is a dancehall artist. He comes from a musical family where his older brothers were professional musicians and his father was a guitarist for a band called Byron Lee and Dragonaires. Greensleeves released Wilson’s debut album in 1997 with hit songs like “Big Man, Little Yute”, “Dwayne”, “Cruise”, “Tight-up Skirt” and “Shelley Ann” amongst others. In 2000, I’m  A Big Kid Now was his 2nd album and in addition, he did a fair share of collaborations such as Treach of Naughty by Nature, Renee from Zhane, NEXT, and many more. 2010 saw the release of the song he titled “Rise Up Zimbabwe” which was welcomed by his fans in the respective country. Monsters Of Dancehall was an album released in 2008 and it did fairly well. In 2009, he became the head of Infinity Moguls and began working with a female artist called Pascalle. He was her mentor as well as her business partner. They toured the world all over and their fan base multiplied. Their performance was thrilling and left their audience very impressed. “Higher” is another single released in 2016 which was a smashing hit that in 3 months had received at least 3 million streams on Spotify.  From as early as 1993, Red Rat began featuring on many albums like Reggae Hits Volume 14. Between then and 2020 has seen his talent show up in other albums over the years. Various riddims like Synthetic riddim in 2018 was a good album especially with the combination of other artists who also were on the album as well. He made a popular video with Chip titled “My Girl” and it made at least 2 million views on YouTube. He has more music projects that he is currently working on and we will see the fruits real soon.
