Michael Brissett grew up in Montego Bay and this is where he got his first exposure to music. He began his career by playing music for parties at Pier One and later on started a job at Radio Waves as a radio deejay. Brissett then moved to a more popular radio station Zip 103FM where he got his name and began making songs. His first hit song was titled “Party Hard” and it was produced by Don Corlean. Brissett went on to produce other singles such as “Wifey Walk Away’, “Chant A Psalm”, “Dweet Girl Dweet” and “Party Mi Say”. He partnered with Don Corleon to produce projects such as Elephant Man’s “Crazy Hype” and Assassin’s “Girls Gone Wild”. Brissett produced several riddims including “Slow Bounce”, “12 Gauge”, “French Vanilla”, “Bluetooth” and many others. In 2015 he released the “World Boss” mixtape, “the crocodile riddim” and the “Fix Up” riddim. He released his international album in 2016 titled “Yard Man and in 2017 Brissett released the “Malibu Riddim”, “Giggi Riddim” and the Vybz Kartel “Black & White” album. He toured North and Central America, Canada, England and many other places.
