Pure Music Productions had this one rolling in 2011, and the riddim sits right in that sharp early-2010s dancehall pocket: brisk, digital, and built for juggling. Delly Ranx, who heads the imprint, has long balanced deejay work with production, and that dual role shows here in the way the riddim leaves enough room for personality while still keeping a tough, stripped-down pulse.

Madd Referee is voiced by a deep bench: Bling Dawg, Cush Hunta, Delly Ranx himself, Buju Banton, Cam Phattaz, Froggy Maddsquad, Esco, Galaxy P, Gappy Ranks, Knock Shizzle, Macka Diamond, Madd One, Taranchyla, Teflon, and ZJ Liquid. The album version also folds in an instrumental. The cuts run at a similar length and feel, which gives the project a proper juggling-room energy rather than a one-off singles pack.

The standout moments come from the names that already know how to command a rhythm. Buju Banton’s pairing with Delly Ranx on “Thunder Roll” gives the riddim a heavyweight center, while Gappy Ranks pulls extra weight with “Concrete” and “Fresh, ” bringing a UK-rooted voice into a Jamaican dancehall frame. Macka Diamond’s “Sexy Bubble” adds the sly, flirty edge she made her name on, and ZJ Liquid’s “Fake Friend” gives the set one of its more modern radio-friendly hooks. Across the board, the riddim feels dance-first and unapologetically local, with themes of sex, boasting, street talk, and gal tune chatter doing most of the work.
