Luv Alone Riddim leans into a warm, rootsy dancehall feel, with a sweet but steady groove that leaves room for melody and message rather than chasing raw aggression. Mr Vegas opens things with “How Do You Feel, ” while Aza Lineage and Skarra Mucci keep the love theme moving in different directions, and Lyricson’s take on “Many Rivers to Cross” gives the set a more reflective lift. The second part broadens the mood with Guiding Starr, Ras Charmer, Rebellion The Recaller, Perfect Giddimani and Fafadi, so the project moves between conscious uplift and straightforward lovers’ chat without losing its easy pulse. Released in July 2017 on Full Force Click Muzik and produced by Didier Rufi and Alexandre Moccand, it sits neatly in that mid-2010s run of dancehall riddims that still made space for singjay soul and conscious lyrics.
