Wappings Riddim – Kick Dem Records

Wappings Riddim was produced by Kick Dem Records and dropped in 2012 as a compact five-track dancehall set with Blak Ryno on Hungry Gata, Khago on Fire Shot Nuff, Sizzla on Dead Pon Spot, and the Zj Liquid and Raine Seville combination on Ready Fi Dweet. New Kidz and Sadiki also link up on Brinks Truck, giving the project a good mix of veteran names and younger voices. The riddim is closely tied to Truckback Records as well, and the lineup leans into straight-forward street energy rather than anything overly polished. Dead Pon Spot is the clear standout title, while the whole release keeps the focus on sharp delivery and clash-ready tunes.
