Beach Vybz Riddim (2015) – Kingdreams Entertainment

Beach Vybz Riddim arrived in 2015 from Kingdreamz Entertainment, working in tandem with Conscious Minds Records out of Orlando, Florida, and it was conceived with crossover in mind. The beat has a bright, beach-party feel, but it is not just a watered-down summer groove; the production folds in soca-flavoured percussion, especially those Congo drum touches, to give the juggling a sharper island bounce and a wider radio pull.

The lineup runs deep across the dancehall spectrum. Christopher Martin brings the clean, melodic side of the project with Hot Gyal Anthem, while Ding Dong turns Party Buck into pure motion. I-Octane, Black Ryno, Delly Ranx, ZJ Liquid, Dennis the Mennis, 3 Star, Atiba, Famous Twenty and Malica all add their own angles, moving between girls’ tunes, party talk and weekend flexing. The project also carried voices from outside Jamaica, which fits the label’s global-minded pitch.

What makes Beach Vybz work is that it does not stay in one lane. The stronger cuts are the ones that lock into the rhythm’s sunny swing without sounding generic: Christopher Martin’s polish, Ding Dong’s street-party energy and Black Ryno’s rougher edge give the riddim real contrast.
