Clarendon Riddim – Tuchpoint Production

Tuchpoint Production’s Clarendon Riddim sits right in the middle of that 2015 wave of soca-flavoured dancehall projects aimed at the party season, and it’s the kind of cut that’s more about bounce and attitude than heavy concept. Chi Ching Ching’s “Wata” and I-Octane’s “Sexy Body Ladies” give it the most immediate pull, both leaning into cheeky, crowd-ready hooks, while Stonebwoy’s “Gyal A Link We” adds a sharper regional edge to the lineup. Tuchpoint even steps in alongside Teff on “Way Up Stay Up, ” which ties the whole thing back to the producer’s own push for the riddim. With seven tracks in all, it feels compact and focused, the sort of release that was clearly made to move around dancefloors and radio sets in early 2015.
