AceMusix keeps Soca Buzz Riddim in a brisk 2015 Trinidad soca lane, with eight vocal cuts and the producer’s own instrumental closing things out. Bunji Garlin’s “Original Thing” is the obvious anchor, but the set also has Buffy’s “Roll, ” Crazy’s “Break Away, ” and Revelation pulling double duty with “10 To 1” and “Geh Dem, ” which gives the release a little extra motion across the tracklist. The riddim runs nine tracks in all, and that final instrumental version lets the pattern breathe without losing its carnival drive.
