Kubiyashi Productions takes a lighter, more party-forward turn on Belafont Riddim, a 2015 soca set that keeps the lineup tight and the energy moving rather than crowding the space with extras. Destra Garcia’s “Normal” gives the riddim its sharpest opening punch, while Voice’s “Vision” and Skinny Fabulous’ “Argument Done” push it into that crowd-ready, road-season pocket with bright hooks and a brisk bounce under the vocals. Fya Empress’ “Woke It Up” adds a more playful edge, and the whole thing sits on a clean, forward-driving soca pulse that leaves room for the melodies to cut through. There are only four cuts here, all by different artists, which keeps the project focused and easy to take in, and Skinny Fabulous is the name that anchors the tracklist.
