Jumping in on the 2011 By The Way Riddim, Kubiyashi Productions keeps the cut leaning squarely into early-2010s soca energy, with a bright, punchy groove that leaves plenty of room for quick hooks and party-ready vocals. Fire Empress’ “To The Floor” and First Lady’s “Main Squeeze” bring the flirtatious side of the set, while Jamesy P’s “Something” adds a smoother, more melodic lift before Problem Child turns up the cheeky edge on “Inna Yuh Pantry. ” It’s a tight four-song line-up, but the sequencing keeps the pace moving without wasting a bar, and the instrumental “By The Way Riddim” at the end locks in the whole feel of the project.
