Richard Dwayne Gordon was born on 8 November 1993 and he grew up in Queenhythe, Discovery Bay, St Ann, Jamaica. Gordon attended Discovery Bay All-Age School. His older brother owned a sound system so at home he would play it and he would invite Richard to sing on the mic which he did effortlessly. Gordon’s parents split up and he did not take the split very well which led him to depression and he took comfort in writing music. Gordon attended Ocho Rios High School in Brown’s Town where his father resided and later moved back to Queenhythe to live with his mom. After High School, Gordon went to Cornwall Automotive CATI Mechanic where he acquired knowledge of becoming a car mechanic. Gordon recorded his first song at 15 and the song was an instant hit in his community. Gordon received his inspiration from artists like Buju Banton, Damien Marley, Sean Pail, I-Octane and other artists. He released the EP “Game Changer” which included singles like “Body Glue” and “Success Deh Near” which were produced by Quefa Don Records.
