Road Vybz Riddim – Run Road Entertainment

Run Road Entertainment kept Road Vybz Riddim moving in a tight 11-track dancehall sequence in 2019, and the first thing you hear is how neatly the voices are spaced around a rhythm that leans more streetwise than glossy. Daddy1’s “6ixx Braff” and Deep Jahi’s “Top Shelf” set the tone early, while Fully Bad, Hot Frass and Navino push the energy in different directions without losing the same rough-edged pulse. There’s a little summer lift in Prohgres’ “Summer Time, ” but the cut that leaves the deepest mark is Versi’s “Clean Out, ” which closes the set with a sharper, more defiant edge before the instrumental rolls in behind it.
