Dead Faces Riddim – Livewyah

Dead Faces Riddim comes in lean and grimy, with that tight 2019 dancehall pulse carrying a small but sharp set of voices. Livewyah keeps the production stripped back enough for the hooks to cut, and Jed-I The Utmost’s “Chi-Lum” feels like the pivot point, sounding especially at home against the riddim’s cold, clipped bounce. Alex Mobsta’s “Evil We Evil” and Mr. Cleverly’s title cut push the darker side of the project, while Penny Don and Shabako bring a little extra motion to the second half.
