2019 was the year dancehall kept leaning hard into gritty, streetwise one-riddim sets, and Elite Generation Records slid Money Hunter into that run with seven sharp cuts and no wasted motion. The production has that tough, no-frills pulse that suits the title: talk of hustle, money pressure, and upward climb runs through the whole thing, from Chronic Law’s “Money Hunter” to DonPree’s “Money Habit” and Hotfrass’ “Million Dolla. ” Cidigi’s “Big Batty Gyal” loosens the mood a bit, but the set keeps its edge, and JahJah Vein and Prince Ikeem each ride the groove with enough menace to keep it moving.
