Major Impact Riddim – Simpac Music

Simpac Music keeps this one moving with a crisp 2015 soca cut that leans more on party pressure than polish, the kind of riddim meant to light up a road march or late-night fete. Azane’s “Party Cyah Done” gets two passes here, in edit and raw form, and that alone tells you the tune was meant to work in both radio-friendly and harder-edged spaces. Prohgres’ “Shell Down” is the sharper name in the bunch, while Kaliblaxx’s “Gal You Good” adds a lighter, flirtier touch against the same choppy, uptempo drive. The whole thing is compact at six tracks, with just four voices and one instrumental, and the final “Major Impact Instrumental” leaves the riddim bare enough to hear its bounce and carnival-ready pulse.
