Jamiel Foster, born 30 August 1992 in Portmore, Jamaica, is a dancehall and reggae artist. From the age of four Jamiel’s dad perceived his enthusiasm for music as he would consistently be singing to his own tunes and verses. His affection for music developed tuning in to artists, for example, Bob Marley, Junior Gong, Buju Banton, and Sizzla Kolangi amongst many others. Through the meeting of his cousin (Pops), Jamiel grew a relationship with Ahkeem and Jamie Roberts of Young Vibez Production. He later joined Shocking Vibez under the administration of Patrick Roberts in 2009. His career started blossoming as he recorded with big names like T.J Records, Young Vibez, U.I.M Records, Brit Jams, and Head Concussion Records. Jamiel can be heard tearing the wireless transmissions with tunes, such as “New Year Yah” and “Mi Nuh Mudera”, both created by Young Vibez Production. Jamiel is an adaptable artiste who likes to apply the skills of reggae and dancehall to his music. His tracks are done on riddims dating as back as 2009. He composes his own lyrics which are spotless and carried with a positive vibe. Great Man was a good album released in 2019. Revamp is being released on the 12th of June 2020. His voice is definitely one to tune in out for.
