Money Order Riddim arrived in 2018 as one of Armzhouse Records’ sharper modern dancehall juggling moves, driven by a money-hungry theme that runs through the whole set without ever getting lazy. The label has long been tied to Everton “Rado” Minott, and by this point Armzhouse had already earned a reputation for crisp, digital-forward rhythms aimed squarely at the dance. This one lands in the same lane: tough drums, bright synth movement, and a propulsive bounce that leaves plenty of room for artists to cut through with attitude.

The lineup is heavy with names that mattered in 2018. Alkaline’s “Dutty Badmind” turns the riddim into a cold-eyed warning shot, with his clipped delivery riding the beat’s sting. Jahmiel’s “Powerful” brings a more anthemic, self-assured tone, while I-Octane’s “Money Increase” pushes the cash theme directly and suits his grittier, more conversational style. Konshens adds a slicker hustle energy on “Rich Time Now, ” and Charly Black’s “Nuh Coke Head” gives the riddim one of its more memorable title concepts, swinging between streetwise humor and caution. Govana’s “Inna Di Sky” and Shenseea’s “Can’t Beat Me” tighten the set further, each bringing a different kind of confidence, with Shenseea especially sounding natural over the sleek, competitive pulse. Ocg’s “Easy Life” rounds it out with a more relaxed contrast.
