Pure Music Productions lined up Mouthwash Riddim in 2018 with Johnny Wonder Distribution handling the release. The project arrived with 19 tracks and a long playtime that gives the juggling room to move from party bragging to straight lovers’ business without ever sounding scattered. Delly Ranks is the name tied to the production credit across the database listings, and his Pure Music imprint had already been building a catalogue of dancehall riddims before this one landed.

The cut list reads like a cross-section of modern dancehall voices. Alaine opens with “Love Will Never Die, ” bringing a sweeter, melodic edge that sits beside Demarco’s more road-ready “Gyal Yuh Body Good” and Mr. Vegas’s “No Tun Back. ” Shaggy’s “Party Every Night” pushes the celebratory mood harder, while Bugle’s “Magnum and Punch” and I-Octane and J August’s “Psalms 91” give the riddim some contrast between sly party language and more rooted, spiritual phrasing.

Mouthwash has a bright, uptempo dancehall pulse with a clean, digital finish that leaves plenty of space for the vocals to cut through.
