V.A Money Talk Riddim – Andys Music Production

Andys Music Production’s Money Talk Riddim arrived in 2015 as a straight dancehall juggling with a money-conscious hook at its core. The instrumental sits in that hard-edged midtempo lane, built for DJs to ride while the voices cut through with clear, sharp phrasing rather than heavy melody. It landed in December 2015, and the label credit appears under Andy’s Muzik Production, which also issued the riddim digitally as a full various-artists project.

Vybz Kartel’s “Money Talk” is the obvious anchor, and it sounds like the kind of statement cut that can pull a whole rhythm into the streets quickly. Jahmiel follows with “Respect Fi Respect, ” bringing the more uplifted, thoughtful tone he was already becoming known for, while Lutan Fyah’s “Old Capital Style” adds veteran gravity and a more roots-conscious voice. Wasp turns up twice, on “Nuh Bwoy” and “Gyal A Find Mi, ” giving the riddim one of its more direct dancehall flavors.
