Kirk Rhoden, born on 9 February 1984 in August Town, Kingston, Jamaica, is one of the popular dancehall and reggae artists. Having grown up in a family of six who were all musical, it is not a surprise how Rhoden has become an affluent musician. His brother’s death in 2005 became a tragedy he used to mold his career and uplift his family. He got his big break when he met Vybz Kartel in 2008 and they collaborated on the hit “Weh Dem A Guh” produced by Stephen Mcgregor. Rhoden parted ways with the Gaza empire (headed By Vybz Kartel) and started “Out Clear Movement”. He has done many collaborations and worked with various producers all over the world. In 2013, he made a music video for the hit song “My Love.” In addition, he released an album titled New Endings in 2014. “Steamy” is a single he did in 2018 with ex-Gaza member, Popcaan aka “Unruly boss.” 2019 saw the making of “Touch The Sky”, another music video which featured Mink Jo. Recently, in February 2020, he released “Wicked” was another hit single that is making the waves and his fans are very impressed. His talent knows no bounds, Rhoden has also been nominated over the years for countless awards within the dancehall and reggae genres.
