Lunch Break Riddim keeps its aim tight: three songs, three voices, and a lean 2013 dancehall groove from 3pledose Production. Jah Vinci’s “Victory” feels like the sharpest cut here, his singjay lift sitting nicely on a rhythm that leaves plenty of room for the hook to bite, while Iq goes rougher and more mischievous on “Rave And Misbehave” and Anna’s “Real Hot Gal” brings a more flirtatious edge to the set. The whole thing has that quick lunchtime-session feel the title hints at, short and direct rather than overworked, with each artist getting just enough space to make a mark.
