Scriptures Riddim landed in 2013 on Don Corleon Records, the Kingston label and production camp headed by Donovan Bennett, whose name became shorthand for sleek modern reggae and dancehall juggling. By then, Don Corleon had already built a reputation for sharply mixed one-drop projects that could carry heavyweight singers without losing warmth or clarity.

This one moves with a polished roots pulse: steady drums, a deep bassline, and a bright, open arrangement that leaves plenty of room for vocals to breathe. It sits firmly in conscious reggae rather than dancehall crossover territory, and the mood is devotional without turning heavy-handed. The set runs nine cuts deep, with Chronixx’s “Most I” giving the riddim one of its most memorable performances, all humility and youthful conviction.
