Andrew Reid, born on 12 February 1970 in Westmoreland, Jamaica, is a dancehall and reggae recording artist.  He and his family decided to move to Seaview Gardens in Kingston when he was the age of 13. Nitty founded the Scare Dem Crew in 1994 with the help of his mentor, Bounty Killer. Elephant Man was also a part of the crew including Boom Dandimite and Harry Toddler. He has been in the music industry for at least 3 decades which he has voiced various rhythms and his fan base has trusted his style and maintained their loyalty with each music project he did. Nitty has made it clear that his 1st well-known hit was Go away done on the Billie Jean riddim and it featured 2 legends, Bounty Killer and Angel Doolas. It was released by King Jammy in 1992. Though he is no longer a part of the Scare Dem Crew, he has successfully made many music projects including videos over the years he has been in music.  Some of the music videos are for singles titled “Your Love” and “Reasons” which was done in 2016.  His performance at Rebel Salute in 2018 was one of the many that left his fans captivated by his stage presence. One of his good deliveries is the Steppaz riddim which was in February 2020. More is definitely yet to come as it is evident that Nitty Kutchie is a superstar in his field.
