By 2002, Selah had already lined up a tidy little dancehall set here, and the pull is really the clash of voices over that sly, cheeky one-riddim groove: Anthony B, Singing Sweet and Tyrical join forces on “Live Up, ” Bounty Killer turns up twice with “Nu Beg Friend” and the Bounty/Terror Fabulous cut “Vote, ” and Elephant Man’s “Her Decision” keeps the pace sharp. The riddim credits point to Noel Williams, Paul McFarlane and Michael Harris, with the Selah label carrying the project, and that trio gives the whole thing a polished, streetwise feel rather than a rough-edged bashment stomp. Chrisinti, Determine and Nitty Kutchie with Future Troubles add more color to the set, while Monster Shack Crew’s title cut sits right in the middle of the action. The release lands with nine tracks, including the version.
