When Run Road Riddim dropped in 2019, it quickly became a favorite in dancehall clubs and street parties. The riddim’s energetic beat and catchy hooks made it perfect for any bashment session. At the center of the project is SAWFIE ALLIANCE, a producer known for sharp sound design and a modern take on dancehall. SAWFIE ALLIANCE has built a reputation for blending classic rhythms with up-to-date production, and Run Road Riddim is a clear example of this style. The recording process behind Run Road Riddim focused on clean, punchy drum patterns and lively basslines. SAWFIE ALLIANCE worked closely with each artist, making sure their unique voices stood out on the riddim. The studio sessions were all about capturing raw energy and making every track ready for the dancefloor. Singer J and Shane O teamed up for “Gyal Bubble Up,” a song that showcases both artists’ strong delivery. Shane O is known for his hit “A Millione,” which helped him gain more attention in the dancehall scene. Iyara and Renee Six Thirty brought their own flavor with “Good Pussy Gyal,” adding a playful energy to the riddim.
