Cornelius Daley, the producer behind the label, has been on a clear mission to keep the drums heavy and the feel rooted in authentic Jamaican dancehall, and this set fits that thinking neatly. The release also sits inside a small but identifiable Cornelius catalogue, with the imprint already active on earlier juggling work before this rhythm landed.

Country Side has that bouncy, mid-tempo feel that gives the deejays room to cut loose without sounding rushed. The beat feels built for the street dance first: punchy kick, snappy snare, and enough space for ad-libs and crowd response. Beenie Man’s “Daylizer” brings veteran charm and sharp phrasing, while Elephant Man’s “Oh Nah Nah” pushes the energy upward in the way only he can. Teflon’s “I Got You” adds a smoother, more melodic edge, and the trio of Serani, Ding Dong and Wayne Marshall on “Sideway” gives the rhythm one of its most obvious crossover moments, with melody, movement and patter all working together.
