Jahnre Music Group’s Afrodisiac Riddim lands a little slicker than a lot of straight-up bashment juggling from that 2019 wave, with GioVanniRimz pulling double duty on the project and the mood leaning toward an easy, breezy dancehall pulse rather than anything heavy-handed. Cherise Ransome’s “Black White” opens things with a clean, melodic touch, while Substannz and YaBoiVince turn “AFRO Groove” into the rowdier cut, all bounce and cheek.
