BELL FOOT RIDDIM produced by CASHFLOW 2013
Bell Foot Overview
In 2013, a group of top dancehall artists gathered in the studio to record on the Bell Foot Riddim. The session was guided by the producer known as CASHFLOW, who is recognized for his careful attention to detail and his ability to bring out the best in every artist. CASHFLOW, who runs the Cashflow Records label, has a strong reputation in the Jamaican music scene. His productions often blend strong rhythms with catchy melodies, and his work has reached audiences worldwide through digital platforms. For this project, CASHFLOW’s vision was clear: combine the energy of hardcore deejays with the smoothness of melodic singers. He used his mixing skills to create a seamless blend, making sure each artist’s style fit perfectly over the riddim. Alaine delivered “Why Yuh Say Suh,” bringing her signature soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Beenie Man, known as the “King of Dancehall,” added his vibrant energy with “Work,” giving the riddim a lively boost. Bramma’s “Gwan Good” brought a confident, streetwise flavor, while Cecile showed her versatility with two tracks: “Hold It In Deh” and “Roll It In Deh,” both packed with her unique attitude and charm. Christopher Martin contributed “Yuh Nuffi Easy,” adding a smooth, romantic touch that balanced the set. Other artists on the riddim included Fabian with “All Because Of You,” Navino’s “Nah Go Nuh Gym,” and Stein with both “Pum Pum Shorts” and “Short Shorts.” Each track added a different color, but all came together under CASHFLOW’s careful direction. This dancehall set stands as an important moment in dancehall history, showing what happens when creative minds unite under a single, powerful riddim.
