EXTREME CAUTION RIDDIM produced by JJEVAFRASS PRODUCTION 2016
Extreme Caution Overview
In 2016, the Extreme Caution Riddim came to life inside the studio of JJEVAFRASS PRODUCTION. The producer, known for his sharp ear and modern dancehall style, wanted a riddim that would stand out but still feel true to the roots of the genre. JJEVAFRASS PRODUCTION had already made a name in the dancehall world, working on several popular releases and gaining respect for his energetic beats and clean sound. The riddim’s bright, pulsing rhythm quickly caught the attention of some of dancehall’s most exciting voices. Bryka stepped up first with “Cut Dem Off,” blending raw lyrics with catchy melodies. Bryka is known in Jamaica for his powerful delivery and messages of strength, and this track showed his talent. Devin Di Dakta jumped on the riddim with “Long Time.” Devin Di Dakta had already made waves in the scene—he was nominated for a Grammy in 2017 for his work on the Sly & Robbie Presents…Reggae for Her album, making him one of the youngest Jamaican artists to earn such recognition. Gage brought his signature intensity to “Anytime,” giving fans the wild energy he’s famous for. Munga Honorable, another respected name, delivered “Murda Smaddy.” Munga is well known for his hit “Bad From Mi Born,” and he brought his unique flow to this riddim. Rickey Teetz gave a strong performance on “From Dem Diss,” adding more fire to the lineup.
