BREAK THROUGH RIDDIM produced by E.F.E. RECORDS 2012
Break Through Overview
In 2012, dancehall selectors found a new anthem to light up late-night parties: the Break Through Riddim. The journey began in the heart of the studio, where the engineer’s steady hand and sharp ear shaped the riddim’s deep bass and pulsing energy. Every layer was carefully built, aiming for a sound that would move crowds and rule the dance. Behind this release stood E.F.E. RECORDS, a label known for pushing modern dancehall forward. E.F.E. RECORDS had already made its mark in the Caribbean music scene with several digital releases, earning respect for its fresh approach and clean production. When it came time to select the voices for Break Through Riddim, the label called on some of dancehall’s rising artists. Aaron’s “Jah Love” added a conscious message, and his steady vocals had already earned him a loyal following. Dragoniz teamed up with Cazino for “Endevarous Party Feat. Cazino,” delivering a track that quickly became a party favorite. Cazino’s style was a perfect match, bringing extra fire to the collaboration. Essense brought her own flavor with “Rosavelt,” showing why fans keep an eye on her next move. I Cko’s “Lift Your Head Up High” added a positive vibe, rounding out the riddim’s lineup. As soon as the riddim hit the streets, selectors made it a staple in their sets.
