DISORDIA RIDDIM- VARIOUS ARTISTS 2012
Disordia Overview
Disordia Riddim arrived in 2012, released by the street-focused Disordia label. Their bold approach helped push dancehall in new directions that year, making this riddim a favorite for selectors and party crowds alike. The mix brought together a strong lineup of artists. Fambo, known for his energetic style and the popular party track “Rum & Red Bull” with Beenie Man, delivered “Be Good” on this riddim. Blak Ryno, who gained fame during his time with the Portmore Empire and for songs like “Bike Back,” added “Real Bad Boy,” bringing his signature edge. Erup And Jahbert teamed up for “Party Full,” adding more fire to the dancefloor. Erup is especially known for his hit “Click Mi Finger,” which topped charts in Jamaica and the UK reggae scene. Patexx, who has worked with established names like Bounty Killer, brought “Moving Up,” showing his drive in the music business. Wayne Marshall, a respected singer and deejay with a long career and hits such as “Glory to God” and “Overcome,” contributed “Straight.” Other standout tracks on the riddim include Delly Ranx’s “Independent,” I Candi’s “Hot Gyal Anthem,” Esco’s “Sen On,” and Rholin X And Supah Shane’s “Clean.” The riddim’s architect, Disordia, helped shape the sound of dancehall in 2012 with this release. Even among the heavy bashment drops of 2020, Disordia Riddim stood out as a street anthem and a creative highlight in the dancehall scene.
