TUKK INN RIDDIM PART 1 – V.I.P. INTERNATIONAL 2017
Tukk Inn Overview
The Tukk Inn Riddim came out in 2017 and quickly made a mark in dancehall music. The producer behind this project is Gachapan Records, a Japanese label known for blending dancehall with new sounds. Their work helped bring a fresh energy to the genre, mixing trap influences with classic dancehall rhythms. A big part of the riddim’s success came from the artists who voiced it. Bounty Killa, a legend in dancehall, brought his powerful style to the song "Shell Dung Dem Endz Aka Tukk I." Bounty Killa is famous for hits like "Look" and has won many awards, including a Grammy for his work with No Doubt on "Hey Baby." His voice on this riddim gave it real authority. Blakkman added his own flavor with the track "Darkness." Blakkman is known for his sharp lyrics and strong delivery. Boy-Ken, a Japanese dancehall artist, joined with the song "Dutty Bungle." He is respected for helping to spread dancehall culture in Japan. Ng Head, another Japanese artist, brought his energy to "You Dead," while Iyara, who has worked with Bounty Killa before, voiced "The System." Iyara is known in Jamaica for his clever wordplay and has been part of Bounty Killa’s Alliance crew. Kotobuki Kun & Jason Sweetness teamed up for "Bad We Bad," adding more variety to the mix. Even in 2021, selectors still play Tukk Inn Riddim in dances and parties. Its wild beats and rebellious spirit keep it alive, making it a favorite for those who love real dancehall vibes.
