JAMALOGY RIDDIM (SOCA) – WIZ RECORDS
Jamalogy Overview
Back in 2019, Carnival was alive with new energy, and much of that came from the truck anthem base of Jamalogy Riddim. The story of this soundtrack started with a fete composer who wanted to capture the true spirit of the road. The composer worked closely with the producer, carefully building each layer of sound until the riddim was ready. The production was colorful and full of life, making it perfect for the big trucks and loud speakers that roll through Carnival. When Jamalogy Riddim was finally released, it took over the streets. The bassline was heavy, and the rhythm made people want to dance from morning to night. The first to ride this wave was Pupa Leendi with his song "Legalize." Pupa Leendi is known for his energetic performances and catchy hooks, and "Legalize" quickly became a favorite for many. Then came Otis with "Warning," adding his own style to the riddim. Otis has built a strong name in soca, especially after his earlier hit "Turn Up" made waves across the region. WIZ Records brought everything together with "Jamalogy Riddim," giving the soundtrack its name and sealing its place in Carnival history. Their work on this project stood out, making Jamalogy Riddim a must-play at every major fete and on every music truck. Even today, when you hear that truck anthem base, you remember Carnival 2019. The energy, the dancing, and the pure joy of the road all come rushing back. That’s the magic of Jamalogy Riddim.
