Intercom Riddim comes from 1986 and is credited to a wide circle of producers and labels including Ricky Berry, Bert Neil, King Jammy, Frenchie, Triston Palmer, Nigel Burrell, Tad Dawkins and Tad Dawkins Jr, with links to Rambo, Park Birth, Jammy’s, Maximum Sound, Creation, Dream, Fire Cracker and Big Yard. The riddim later resurfaced in the 2000s on the Maximum Sound side, which helps explain why it keeps turning up across different eras of dancehall.
