EPICENTA RIDDIM produced by NOTICE PRODUCTIONS 2011
Epicenta Overview
The Epicenta Riddim album collection brought together a strong set of tracks in 2011. Each song used the same infectious rhythm, but every artist made it their own. Beenie Man delivered “When It Ago End,” bringing his signature energy. Bugle’s “Owa Advice” stood out with thoughtful lyrics. Chedda added “Di Gideon Start,” a track full of determination. Fambo’s “Set Me Free” kept the vibe light and catchy, while Flexxx gave listeners “Life To Live,” a tune about resilience. Other tracks included Gappy Ranks with both “Blackberry” and “Controversy Sells,” showing his range. Kantana’s “Money Hunta” and Patexx’s “Survivor” added more flavor. Unga closed things out with “Who Feels It Knows.” Beenie Man, known as the “King of Dancehall,” has won a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album with “Art & Life.” Bugle is respected for songs like “Journey,” which made a big impact in reggae circles. Fambo is well known for his collaboration with Beenie Man on the hit “Rum & Red Bull.” Flexxx and Chedda also brought their unique styles to the riddim.
