CONSTRICTOR RIDDIM produced by DADDY COBRA & FYAHBWOY 2013
Constrictor Overview
In 2013, dancehall music was full of energy and new ideas. That year, the Constrictor Riddim became a strong example of the power of yard studios. The riddim was produced by DADDY COBRA and FYAHBWOY. DADDY COBRA is known for his creative work in dancehall and has produced several popular tracks in Spain. FYAHBWOY is one of Spain’s leading reggae and dancehall artists, and his albums have reached high positions on Spanish charts. The Constrictor Riddim brought together a group of talented artists. Fyahbwoy, with his song “Protocolo,” showed why he is a top name in the scene. Ward21, a group from Jamaica famous for their hit “Haters” and their influence in dancehall, added “Gal A Request We” to the riddim. Chulito Camacho, a pioneer of Spanish reggae, gave fans “Les Sobra Mucha Boca.” Daddy Banton, known for his long career in Spanish dancehall, delivered “Yo Ataco.” Lasai, who has worked with big names in European reggae, brought “Dem A Try Fi Corrupt Me.” Other artists on the riddim include Jusa Dementor with “Call Out Fi Di Fyah,” Mr Karty with “Sin Rodeos,” Toledo with “Fyah Fi Di Haters,” Pipo Ti with “Su Espiral,” and One Chot with “Ruff Powah.” Each song added a special style, but all kept the dance floor moving. The Constrictor Riddim proved that in 2013, yard studios could create music that stands out and brings people together.
