CONCOCTION RIDDIM produced by SCUARE WAN RECORDS 2013
Concoction Overview
The Concoction Riddim arrived just as street anthems were shaping dancehall culture. These rhythms, built for the dance floor, quickly became favorites at parties and clubs. The base of the riddim carried the energy and attitude of Jamaica’s streets, inviting dancers and DJs to move with its heavy percussion and catchy hooks. Behind the sound, the studio team played a big role. SCUARE WAN RECORDS, known for their work in dancehall, produced this riddim. The label has a history of supporting new and established artists, and their productions often focus on strong drum patterns and clear, powerful mixes. This attention to detail makes each track stand out, helping the riddim become a highlight in bashment music for 2021. Several artists brought their own style to the project. Big Wayne delivered "Mi Nuh Know," adding his deep vocals and signature flow. Mr Lexx, a well-known dancehall artist with hits like "Full Hundred," gave fans "Instagram And Twitter Bad Gal," showing his ability to blend humor and social commentary. Lady Lucky Feat Wendy came together for "Lie To Me," a track that mixes emotion and melody. Wendy - Lie To Me also joins with another take on "Lie To Me," giving the riddim a different vibe. Iq’s "Frass" adds a raw, energetic feel, while Kai Feat Avi’s "Party" and Avi - Party’s "Party" keep the dance floor moving. Kello Cole’s "Style Dem Sick" rounds out the selection with sharp lyrics and attitude. Together, these tracks made the Concoction Riddim a must-hear release, capturing the sound of the streets and the spirit of dancehall in 2021.
