Three cuts are all this 2007 dancehall set needs to make its point, and the lineup says plenty: Capleton, Degree and Tolga, and Elephant Man each take a pass at the same bluntly titled riddim. The production leans straight into raw bashment energy rather than anything polished, with clipped drums, a tough low end, and the kind of spare arrangement that leaves room for each voice to punch through. Capleton’s “Bitch” brings the fiercest edge, while Degree and Tolga’s “As Dem Girl” plays the cheeky contrast, and Elephant Man’s “Dem Gal Dem” closes the set in his usual animated, crowd-moving style. With only three tracks, there’s no filler to hide behind, and the final Elephant Man cut leaves the whole project feeling like a quick, rude-party snapshot from mid-2000s dancehall.
