Vibranium Riddim – Riddim World Records

Vibranium Riddim comes out of Zimbabwe with Riddim World Records and Big League Music behind it, and the project sits squarely in the Zimdancehall conversation that keeps local grit and sound-system pressure at the center. Riddimz Kalacta is the force tying it together, a producer and curator who has spent years building riddim-led releases through the Riddims World pipeline.

The set runs with just a handful of cuts, but that economy works in its favor. Don Creety opens with “Nuh Average Gal, ” bringing a sharp, streetwise vocal over a pattern that keeps its edge without getting cluttered. MC Pattexx follows with “Clean, ” a title that matches his direct, melodic style and the way he tends to balance hard dancehall phrasing with sing-song hook work. Dunger Lee and Smartex voice “Touch Touch” in both radio and raw versions, which gives the riddim a useful split personality: one cut aimed at broader playback, the other preserving the rougher, more explicit energy that dancehall fans expect.

The instrumental matters here too. It lets the synth line, bass weight and drum snap speak on their own, and it underlines the release’s in-house feel.
