Champion Dub Riddim – Se7en Commandments

Released in 2023 on Se7en Commandments, Champion Dub Riddim brings together a compact six-track dancehall set centered on Satin’s title cut and a run of remixes from Blakkamoore, Sgt. Remo, TD Rakin, Chucky Bantan, and Madi Simmons. The project has a dubby, sound system-minded feel, with each version keeping the same core riddim while giving the arrangement a different edge. Blakkamoore’s remix adds some extra weight, while the Sgt. Remo and TD Rakin takes keep the energy tight and direct. It’s a short release, but the lineup gives it enough variety to make the riddim easy to revisit.
