Zim Summer Riddim – Riddim World Records

Zim Summer Riddim is a 2026 dancehall project produced by Riddimz Kalacta for Riddim World Records. The riddim has four songs, and each one carries its own message. Some songs speak about serious problems, while others celebrate life, music and Zimbabwean culture.

Queen-I opens the project with “Bun Wi Yaad. ” The song is about how people are damaging the Earth. It speaks about hotter summers, pollution, plastic waste and the cutting down of trees. It also points out that poor people often suffer the most when temperatures rise. However, the song does not leave listeners without hope. Queen-I reminds us that we can still make a difference by planting trees, protecting rivers and reducing waste. The message is simple: the Earth is our home, so we must take better care of it.

Lady Vanta’s “Clock Nah Stop” reminds listeners that time waits for no one. Life keeps moving, whether we are ready or not. The song encourages people to stop wasting time and make use of every chance they get. It is about working towards your goals, enjoying life and doing what matters before it is too late.

Blingah Yute brings some humour with “Summer Gweh! ” He complains about the strong summer heat and asks the season to go away. The song is playful, but it also connects with the wider message about rising temperatures and summers becoming harder to handle. It turns an everyday complaint about the weather into a fun dancehall song.

Riddimz Kalacta and Dappa Stylez close the project with “Zim Summer. ” This song celebrates summer life in Zimbabwe. It mentions places such as Harare, Bulawayo, Great Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River. It also speaks about local food, music, dancing and spending time with friends. The Jamaican and Zimbabwean styles come together to show that people from different places can share the same joy through music.

Together, the four songs make Zim Summer Riddim more than a party project. It speaks about the Earth, the importance of time, the summer heat and the beauty of Zimbabwean life.
