Ushgang Riddim – 7h Records

Ushgang Riddim has that stripped-back, hard-knuckled dancehall pulse that lets the voices cut straight through. 7H Records keeps the frame tight across nine cuts, and the nicest pairing here is probably Fletchadon’s “Execution” next to Kritical’s “Top Client, ” where the latter’s clean and raw versions give the riddim a little extra replay value. Princess Drea’s “Mouth Talk” and Romain’s “Cyah Find” also sit well in the pocket, each leaning into the same sharp, street-facing energy without overcrowding the instrumental. It’s a 2021 set, and the producer’s own closing title track ties the whole thing together with just enough space left for the bass to breathe.
