Wayne Ford Levy, born on 7 June 1981 in Manchester, Jamaica is a reggae and dancehall recording artist. Andres Escobar was his personal football idol hence his stage name Exco. Levy began his journey of singing in his local church choir having been influenced by his father Michael Levy who was known in Clarendon, playing on Super Soul sound system as a selector. The single “O’ Canada” was released in 2007 as his 1st after Levy had moved to Canada in 2005. “Bleaching Shop” was a song that won in 2012 the Juno Award which he had produced by Donovan Germain when Richie Stephens had introduced them to each other earlier on. Levy also won the same award for songs titled “Storms Of Life” and “Strive” which were released 2013 and 2014 respectively. One of the well-known tracks was done under the Brighter Day riddim’s “Jah Nah Sleep” produced by Silly Walks who were German producers in 2013. He also did a great performance at Sting in December 2014 and in addition Rebel Salute saw his appearance in January 2015. Country Man was the title of his 2nd album which he released in March 2015 and the same year he won another award which became his 4th at the Juno Award for “Welcome The King.” In 2016, Levy worked in Brampton, Ontario diligently at a studio and Brampton Arts Walk Of Fame inducted him because his commitment was seen all around. “Siren” made him win the 5th award in 2017 at the Juno Awards. Sizzla and Raging Fyah featured in his released 3rd album in November 2017, titled Narrative. Levy has another track recently released in January 2020 by BrukOut Records on Freedom Horns riddim album called “Blood Is On Your Shoulders.” Other great artists also feature on that album like Morgan Heritage, Capleton, just to mention a few.
