Fire Spark Riddim – Hotboxxx Productions

In 2017, when dancehall was leaning hard into stripped-back digital cuts and blunt, slyly aggressive hooks, Hotboxxx Productions came with Fire Spark Riddim and kept the energy tight and fiery rather than glossy. The sequence has that street-level pull: Dane Ray’s “Pum Pum Killa, ” Kalado’s “Di Candidate, ” Patexx’s title cut, and Zagga’s “I Serious” all ride the riddim with a sharp, clipped bounce, while Versatile’s “Never Lef Fimi” and Samboni’s “Victory Lap Louder” add a little more swagger to the mix.
